ABOUT NOVAS

We are so excited that you will be working with the Novas! They are the oldest age group and usually range from 13-18. Don’t be afraid to go with the flow with your Novas and let them feel some ownership of the daily schedule and decisions.

If you’re supposed to join the rest of the group for a game but your in the middle of a good discussion or just enjoying some casual hang out time, that’s okay. Keep doing it! The Novas are old enough to know what they want and communicate that. So as you plan each day keep that in mind and be ready for some on the spot adjustments.

When it comes to Novas, the best conversations and trust building stuff happens in the little moments, like eating meals together or playing a late night game of Mafia in the Dark! Nothing like your friends trying to “kill” you in the pitch black to really bond teens and Kaleiders! Take some down time each day to add “unofficial hang out time” and connect with the Novas on a casual level. It will make the official sharing and learning together times so much richer!

ABOUT DAILY OVERVIEW

Below, you will find summaries for every day with links to detailed instructions and printable PDFs for each activity.

Before the conference, you and your teammates will evenly divide responsibilities and focus on leading two or three activities each.

You are responsible for having copies of the activities you are in charge of every day.

Don’t forget to check out the side bar if you want more information.
